Human imprint persists in both the imagery of the skateboarders caught merging with their imminent environment and the detail of its presentation, resulting in a certain play on the line between subject and object; summed up to but an impacted representation, bodies and landscapes interact, respond, compose and dance with every moment a step closer towards resembling anonymous graphical elements - and then back, as light better reflects over the silver paper, chiming in as a positive actor and determined to keep influencing the narrative. Different moments, contexts and readings thus call for just as many variations on the set and stage play, emphasize various aspects of the depicted scenes as well as Vutuc’s darkroom work, and what really keeps revealing itself is but the sum of all comprised humane singularities within. From the man-made cityscapes to their cognitive deciphering and the consequential Sisyphean reaction by the skateboarders, and then the medium itself, fractured history leaks as far as all the way into the present day - before some fragments naturally sink back into the shadows.
