With Plutati u vremenu, na zemlji, Patagonian glaciers become the unspoken landscape of an apocalyptic romance of commercialized destruction. Swimming in time is a passage into a creative and oneiric narrative, but is also a lucid consideration of the inexorability of time flowing and of its consequences, as climate catastrophes. In this super8 film video, the artist blends amateur footages of the glaciers tours in all their lyricism of fading memories and romantic idealizations with noises, interruptions and a sinister memento of the outcome of consumerism and the appropriation of common goods for an economy of the spectacle.
